Glaucoma causes blind areas to grow at the edges, or periphery, of vision. As the condition worsens, rings or halos may appear, and your field of vision gets smaller, creating what’s called tunnel vision.

Glaucoma is hard to notice at first. If caught early on, it can be managed and treated. But if left untreated, it can cause irreversible vision loss.
